There were never more than nine points separating the two teams the entire contest with the Bulls managing to lead by four points at quarter-time.

The Nationals were back home at Belconnen Basketball Stadium looking to snap a three-game losing streak up against the bottom placed Bulls who had lost 10 in-a-row themselves.
Scores were all level at 22-22 by quarter-time but it was in the second term when Canberra began to take over with 15 points to nine to go into the half-time break leading 37-31. [full recap here]
